This retreat is for women only

How can we build mindfulness in our moments if we don't take the time to notice? This is the weekend to tune back in. We need our bodies to do all the things we love. We need them to be strong and stable, soft and curious. We need them to be flexible and playful. We need to think about our thinking and then sometimes not think so much. Let's tune into all these places. Come join us as we hold space for each other to be seen and to see. This weekend is for the women looking to tune in so they can live out their best life.

With an emphasis on mindful movement, Bonnie believes that yoga is awareness that we not only build on the mat, but carry with us. She loves to practice and teach yoga by building mobility, stability, and strength. She believes that if you come as you are, all the physical work fuels your power to step into living your fullest most awake life.

The house has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 with walk in showers and one with a tub/shower combo)

4 individual luxury Eurobed mattresses (air mattresses) are available upon request



The retreat is located in the seaside town of Manzanita, Oregon in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, about 2hrs from downtown Portland. The closest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX). The beach and nearby hiking trails along the coastline will be a welcoming respite from our daily lives. For those who are unable to drive directly to the retreat, we are arranging to have transportation to the coast from Hillsboro, OR which is easily accessible via public transportation (MAX). Once your ticket is purchased, additional detailed information will be sent.

Karen Pride is the owner and creator of three health food restaurants in Portland, OR (Prasad, Prasad East & Harlow) and a yoga studio (Yoga Pearl). Karen loves to share the benefits of healthy, organic eating and mindful movement with others.  When not in the restaurants or yoga studio, she enjoys learning about the world through travel, capturing these experiences with on camera, creating in her pottery studio, hiking the amazing trails that surround Portland and beyond and sharing meals with friends, both in her home kitchen and in fabulous restaurants around the world.

Meals are a fun and it is our vision to share that time together over the weekend. To make that possible, Karen will be preparing food for us while we dine together. All meals will be nutritious, wholesome, filling, delicious, organic and gluten-free. The menu will be vegetarian with the option of fish at one meal and limited, optional dairy.  Here is a sample day:


Breakfast - sweet potato toast toast topped with mushrooms, scallions, lentils and poblano yogurt + 7 minute eggs

Lunch - white bean & lemon vegetable soup, salad

Snack - mushroom & maca latte, fruit, nuts 

Dinner - build your own bowl…  a variety of vegetables, grain, legumes and other toppings with tempeh or salmon and 2 sauce options

Dessert - coconut macaroons dipped in dark chocolate

(If you have any dietary restrictions please communicate with us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate)


Karen will also teach a class about Adaptogenic Drink Potions.  We will make our own nut milk, talk about what adaptogens are and their benefits and then make Golden Milk Lattes and Matcha Lattes. She will send everyone home with recipes so we can continue to experiment with our own drink potions.
